Underfloor heating for a new home in Glenties
A room-by-room underfloor heating installation in Glenties, Co. Donegal, designed for precise control and efficient comfort.

The project
This new home in Glenties, Co. Donegal, had underfloor heating installed before the concrete screed was laid, the ideal point to build it into the house.
Each room has its own thermostat, giving the homeowner precise control over comfort and running costs. Heat rises evenly from the floor, without radiators taking up wall space in the heated rooms.
What we installed
Planning
The heating layout was planned around the rooms and the finished floor levels before any pipework went down.
Installation
Underfloor heating pipework was fitted and prepared for the concrete screed, so it sits permanently within the floor.
Control
Independent room thermostats provide precise control, so only the rooms in use need to be heated.
Why it works
Underfloor heating runs at lower water temperatures than radiators, which suits efficient heat sources such as heat pumps.
